Audiologist helping a young woman with ear wax

Wax Management & Removal

Our trained professionals will remove the build-up of ear wax.

Everyone produces ear wax, some more than others – especially for people who wear hearing aids or noise plugs. A build-up of ear wax is caused by moisture, skin and dust inside the ear canal. Excessive ear wax can cause ringing in the ears, mild hearing loss and in some cases, ear pain.

We use specialised ear wax removal equipment to remove a build-up of wax effortlessly and painlessly. We don’t flush or irrigate the ear canal with water (we highly recommend against this). Instead, we use an extracting machine that draws the wax out and always suggest using drops to prevent the build-up reoccurring.
