Our Audiologists

Andrew Glynn
Principal Audiologist
Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology)
Master of Clinical Audiology
Andrew grew up in East Gippsland before moving to Melbourne in 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology) from RMIT University and a Master of Clinical Audiology from Macquarie University.
As the founder and principal audiologist of Hear In Karingal and Hear In Cranbourne, Andrew is deeply committed to independent, client-focused hearing care. With more than 18 years of experience — including time spent working in London, alongside ENT specialists, and across Australia — Andrew has seen the difference genuine hearing care can make.
Andrew’s independence gives him the freedom to recommend only the best hearing aids from trusted brands like Phonak, Oticon, Unitron, and Signia, without manufacturer influence. He takes time to understand each client’s needs, lifestyle, and goals, ensuring every hearing solution is tailored and never rushed.
When he’s not in the clinic, Andrew enjoys travelling, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife and three daughters. He’s passionate about living a balanced life full of connection, laughter, and good conversation, values that also define his approach to audiology.

Audrey McFarlane
Clinical Audiologist
Bachelor of Science
Master of Clinical Audiology
Originally from a quiet coastal town just north of Byron Bay, Audrey moved to Melbourne in 2018 to study his Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) and Master of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne.
Audrey’s love for audiology began with his fascination for how complex, and essential, our hearing truly is. He’s driven by the chance to help people reconnect with the world and rediscover the sounds that make life rich and meaningful.
His patients appreciate his warm, calm manner and his ability to explain hearing care clearly and compassionately. Outside the clinic, Audrey is an avid foodie, enjoys amateur film photography, and loves exploring new corners of the world, always with an ear for life’s beautiful sounds.

Chanuki Asirvatham
Clinical Audiologist
Bachelor of Science
Master of Clinical Audiology
Chanuki grew up in south-east Melbourne and completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiology) at Monash University before earning her Master of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne.
She was drawn to audiology because it perfectly combines science, technology, and human connection. To Chanuki, hearing isn’t just about sound, it’s about belonging, emotion, and identity. She’s seen firsthand the difference hearing makes while volunteering in Cambodia, where access to hearing care is limited.
Chanuki was selected by Oticon to represent Australia at the 2025 Eriksholm Summer Camp in Denmark. This week-long program brought together new audiologists from 25 countries to develop their audiological skills and exchange insights with leading researchers, clinicians, and PhD graduates from around the world.
Chanuki brings empathy, curiosity, and creativity to her role. She believes visiting the audiologist should be something people look forward to. Outside work, she enjoys painting, dance, and attending musicals, her own way of celebrating sound and expression.

Emma Haley
Provisional Audiologist
Bachelor of Psychologicial Sciences,
Master of Clinical Audiology
Emma completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science at Swinburne University before earning her Master of Clinical Audiology at La Trobe University. With a background in allied health, she was drawn to audiology for its blend of clinical expertise and meaningful, person-centred care.
Having experienced hearing loss herself, Emma brings genuine empathy and understanding to her work. She appreciates the impact hearing loss can have on communication, confidence and connection, and is passionate about supporting people throughout their hearing journey. She believes great audiological care begins with truly understanding each person’s individual needs and goals.
Originally born in the UK, Emma now lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband, two daughters and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, travelling and soccer.
